To introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture."

I am a volunteer for NILMDTS.  I recently read an email from Gina Harris, MNM Chief Executive Officer from NILMDTS and my heart stood still for the time I read it.

Having a passion for the islands affected by Irma and Maria I was focused on the medical needs and as a photographer all the bags I no longer needed.

Thus we gathered gently used backpacks for the families on the islands.

I did not immediately think of those that lost their babies and the how it affected NILMDTS photographers trying to get to these parents.

Only one photographer was able to reach a family that lost their baby and what a blessing they could capture precious memories of that beautiful baby. 

Photographing such little lives is hard for many people to wrap our brains around but in these situations of early goodbyes, hearts are more important.  I feel proud to serve families in this manner as a photographer and my nursing allows my comfort level to serve openly.  

I thank God for this gift HE alone can bring to a ministry.  These parents value their family portraits more than many living daily life together.

Their baby portraits will last for ever in their hearts and homes.
