It was a great day Saturday to be out photographing. I was at the Reid Hospital Bravo, and Cycle Cross taking event photos for the hospital.  I really enjoy photographing the action that takes place when these folks ride.  There is a lot of dedication in this sport.  Clay Butler, it made me think of you and miss you.  Clay is an avid rider.    There was a little girl riding the Glen Miller Course with her training wheels on.  Sweet

Most importantly, I enjoyed sharing with our community the importance of getting a mammogram.  As an RN  and a professional photographer I can say it's easy to miss something so important.  Many of us don't know that those that have not had children are more at risk for cancer than those that have had children.  Take time to get an education about something this important.  We're still trying to increase breast cancer awareness in our community and the photos of our events are an outreach.  It's a fun way to share something really important.  I always appreciate those of you that share your stories with me, and of course participate by letting me photograph you, your family and friends.   You can download your photos this week off of the Reid Bravo Facebook page.  Found out these crazy riders love riding in the kind of gloomy, windy weather we had Saturday.  I bet they would not have been as happy Sunday with the storms.  I wish I had been out photographing that as well.  Blessings all!
