We had a wonderful time in St. Johns!  

      Yet, somebody in the system of scheduling reservations accidentally canceled our reservations about a month before our vacation.  Trying to be level headed, I shared, "We all make mistakes.  I'm sure there are solutions."  

    Being informed this was the worse time of year to find room for guests I shared, "This is not a problem.  We have our plane tickets, we can sleep on the beach."  I was informed they would arrest me.  I shared, "That is not a problem.  We'll have a roof over our heads and food."  

     I guess they liked humor because they decided to make this trip happen no matter what!  The folks went over backwards.   We ended up having to move to another studio villa but we got to experience pool side then transferred to the top of the property with awesome sunsets.  

    We flew in on Delta. Of course, the day after we got to the island, Delta completely shut down.  We questioned if they'd be up in time to fly back.  But we let it go, and to our luck, they were up and running 2 days before we flew out.  

    It goes to show, had we not kept our humor, kept positive and worked with folks, we would have been all bent out of shape for nothing.  I was happy I was able to keep my perspective and remembered to laugh!  

   Glad to be home photographing clients but I have some awesome memorable photos of my own.
